Alice Cooper

'Billion Dollar Babies'

Warner Brothers, UK, 1973

K 56013

THERE IS no getting away with it - the Alice Cooper Band were on a massive roll at this time in their career. It seemed like they could do no wrong as every album was systematically better than the last and Billion Dollar Babies is no exception. Just look at the song selection including 'Elected', 'I Love The Dead', 'Sick Things', 'Hello Hooray' and the title track itself - it's like a greatest hits album!

This is a hard to find 1st UK pressing on the Green Warner Brothers label, with the cardboard inner lyric sleeve and the original huge folded dollar bill! Most copies I've ever seen have always had the bill missing.

Pressing: Warner Brothers, UK, 1973 - Green label

Vinyl: Nice clean shiny condition. Spindle marks but only light signs of use. Grades as Ex+

Cover: No visible signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed embossed gatefold 'unipak' style diecut cover with the original dollar bill! Sharp corners (one edge slightly worn), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight. Impossible to find like this after 40 years. Grades as MINT-!

Inserts: Cardboard printed lyric inner sleeve
