ALICE COOPER LOVE IT TO DEATH 1971 WHITE LABEL PROMO LP BANNED THUMB COVER !
STRAIGHT RECORDS # WS 1883
The copy we are offering here is an original United States First Pressing from 1971 on the Straight Label, with the numbers in the
dead wax ending in “1A” and “1B”. This pressing precedes the later Warner Brothers issues. It is also a White Label Promo
pressing,
with the record label reading PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE. The LP comes inside its original Straight label company inner sleeve.
Finally, this one has the banned original gatefold cover with the infamous “thumb”, that was quickly censored on the later pressings.
Vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition, very clean all around.
The sleeve has some shelf wear but nothing major and is rated as VERY GOOD condition. Beautiful gatefold, no tears or rips.
