Description
On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Alice Cooper called 'Love It To Death' and is a 1971 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press UK Straight label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A UK 1ST PRESSING (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS EASILY THE BEST CONDITIONED 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! GENIUNE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP VIRTUALLY NEVER TURN UP FOR SALE - AND ARE HARD ENOUGH TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. HOWEVER THIS IS HELPED EVEN LESS BY THE FACT THAT THE 1ST PRESS COVERS ARE ONE OF THE MOST EASILY WORN COVERS EVER MADE!!!! THE FRONT IS BLACK AND UNLAMINATED - AND THE RECORD ENTERS BY THE INSIDE CENTRE OF THE LP. SO VIRTUALLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING THAT EVER TURNS UP HAS HEAVY RUBBING & RINGWEAR TO THE COVER FRONT AND A CRUSHED FLATTENED AND OFTEN SPLIT SPINE. BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! THIS IS EASILY THE BEST CONDITIONED UK 1ST PRESSING I HAVE EVER SEEN AND IS IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS IS THE 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS UK STRAIGHT LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The Cat. No is STS 1065 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Straight label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! In fact the whole LP plays PERFECTLY - and the only INCREDIBLY insignificant thing I noticed was a couple of INCREDIBLY minor surface sounds (NOT pops or clicks) at the VERY beginning of one track!!!! SUPERB SOUNDING RECORD!!!! The record must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 1st Press 'Patents Pending' Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition and is INCREDIBLY hard to find like this!!!! The first thing to mention is that the spine on this LP is 100% VERTICAL and PERFECT - with NO rubbing, NO wear, PERFECT side words, NO 'flattening', NO 'bumping' and NO other damage!!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN A VERTICAL UNSQUASHED SPINE ON THIS LP!!!! The second thing to mention is that the cover front has NO nasty heavy ringwear, and only some VERY light general rubbing (MILES better than most) - and it is INCREDIBLY hard to find a cover front of this LP that looks as BRILLIANT as this one does!!!! Importantly the opening front flaps edges have absolutely NO feathering AT ALL and are PERFECTLY straight and this is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find on this LP!!!! The rest of the cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (as mentioned above), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), virtually NO rubbing to the cover back AT ALL (virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find on this cover), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed), barely ANY yellowing AT ALL to the cover back, NO grubbyness to the cover back AT ALL, and NO writing on ANY part of the cover!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO ringwear and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!! This is INCREDIBLY hard to find in this BRILLIANT condition and MUST grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A UK 1ST PRESSING AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
