Fantastic Hardcore / punk release on Cruz records from the mighty 'ALL' , complete with it's rare double sided lyric insert.
This is one 'All' album you 'MUST' own, if you wanna know where American Hardcore punk cut it's teeth then this is the spaw it germinated from, 'All' were at its very epicenter and led the charge, testament to a truly revolutionary band.
During a break in The Descendents the whole concept of "All", as an alter ego of the Descendents had been invented by Stevenson and his friend Pat McCuistion during a fishing trip on Stevenson's boat Orca in 1980.
According to the Descendents singer Milo Aukerman "While drinking all this coffee in the midst of catching mackerel they came up with the concept of 'All' — doing the utmost, and achieving the utmost.
The more they got into it the more it turned into their own religion; it's partly punk humor, but it's also an outlook on how to conduct your life, punk or not, to not settle for some but to always go for All".
The tracks on this album still sound fresh and exciting, the pure punk energy virtually sizzles from the grooves, Item acquired within a large private punk collection I bought recently, lots more to list in the coming months so keep checking my listings.
This is a hard album to track down and this is in fantastic overall condition, couple of light hairlines on the vinyl while the sleeve remains almost mint, essential, absolutely f**king essential.
