LACQUERED FRONT COVER WITH SOME LIGHT RUB WEAR AND ALSO SOME AGE DISCOLORATION IN THE WHITE AREAS. BOTTOM EDGE SPLIT SLEEVE SIDE ABOUT THREE INCHES. CORNERS AND EDGES WITH ROUGH SPOTS AND SOME SMALL OUTER LAYER LOSSES. BACK WHITE CARD STOCK WITH OVERALL RUB WEAR AND AGE DISCOLORATION. AN INKED NAME AND DATE ON BACK.

SOME LIGHT SPINDLE RUB MARKS AROUND HOLE. THE HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL BLANK WITH SOME LIGHT AND FINE SURFACE MARKS/RUBS/PLAY LINES UNDER ANGLED LIGHT. I'VE TEST PLAYED THIS LP ON THE VPI TURNTABLE AND THERE IS SOME LIGHT SURFACE NOISE, NOT A DISTRACTION, AND APPEARING TO BE MORE A FUNCTION OF THE PRESSING AND WHATEVER IT WAS PLAYED ON PREVIOUSLY. STILL A WONDERFUL AURAL DEEP GROOVE EXPERIENCE AFTER 50 YEARS!

Red Garland was always a consistent pianist and all of his mid-to-late-'50s Prestige dates are worth acquiring. This [LP] has six titles having to do with seasons and the weather (such as "Rain," "Summertime" and "Winter Wonderland"). The gimmick served as a good excuse for Garland, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Art Taylor to explore six superior songs and their interpretations always swing and uplift the melodies.

AND, LASTLY, PLEASE DO REMEMBER SOUND QUALITY IS AFFECTED BY WHAT THE VINYL IS PLAYED ON!!!

Anything in the VG category would contain more than two surface marks or have some other visible signs of ring or hole wear. Rarely do I offer something in the "G" state. If I do, it's usually a rare LP and priced accordingly. Values are assigned according to market availability and rarity, not a price guide.
