ALLEN BROTHERS ON VICTOR SCROLL V-40003
- Titles are 'Tiple Blues' b/w 'Frisco Blues' ...........................................................................Lee and Austin, the Allen Brothers also known as the "Chattanooga Boys" were known and continue to be revered for their bluesy sound and "salty" material. These sides are unique in their use of Kazoo as a lead instrument. The brothers made records from 1927 to 1934 at which point they gave up music and pursued other careers.
- Here are the details:
- The record is in E- condition but has a one inch hairline crack although this hardly affects play - just some light clicks on side 2. The record really plays fine .
- The label has a small sticker on side 1.
- Shipping within the US will be between $6.00 & $8.00 priority mail depending upon location or $3.50 media mail – you choose. Rates outside the US will be advised and items will be sent by airmail. Insurance within the US is a further $1.70 up to $50 cover if you require it.
