- Vinyl: Mint/NM play grade *5 of the records are mint and never played (this is my personal copy) and the one record I did play is NM; condition of labels are as seen in photos
- Box Cover & Booklet: NM *Box itself is structurally perfect and pristine, the same with the 32-page booklet containing 50+ photos. The track credits, recording info and release versions for all 55 tracks comprise the last 3 pages of book. The (6) inner sleeves are also in excellent shape.
- Notes: Spanning six discs and nearly 100 tracks, Dreams gathers pre-Allman's recordings from the clan, including cuts by the Allman Joys, selecting the hits from the classic years, and adding stray cuts by solo projects to the mix. The results are a terrific box set that truly offers the definitive word on one of the longest-running dramas in Southern rock. (AllMusic)
Near Mint (NM): Otherwise Mint, a nearly perfect record will have only one or two tiny, inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. The disc is shiny and will play without any surface noise. Covers should still be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident.
Excellent (EX): An excellent record or jacket will have a minimum of audible or visual imperfections. The record has been handled and played very carefully. The disc may have light paper scuffs or spindle marks that do not affect the listening experience. Covers will show only minor signs of wear or age, and may have a cutout marking and some slight signs of handling or wear, including a tiny bit of ring wear.
Very Good Plus (VG+): The vinyl is considered a good playable copy that may display more signs of wear than an EX grade, but one's overall listening experience will still be positive. Jackets may also display more signs of light storage wear or aging, but not affect the beauty of the artwork.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects seen in a VG+ record or jacket will be more pronounced on a VG album. The vinyl will display visible signs of handling and playing, and looks like it will play with some audible surface noise, although any such noise should not overwhelm the musical experience. Jackets may display a variety of problems, although none of the flaws should be overwhelming, and limited to no more than a couple.
Good (G): A record in good condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without any repeating "skips", although it will have more severe audible surface noise and scratches than a VG record. Jackets will also have even more pronounced defects than a VG cover. This grade is usually reserved for rarer records that are difficult to find.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING:
- All records are sleeved in a new paper sleeve, removed from jacket to prevent any seam splitting, and then shipped inside a poly album sleeve.
