Allman Brothers Band - and Duane Allman, in particular, remain the object of our uncritical veneration and admiration. They were, in our humble opinion, the only WHITE blues performers (notwithstanding their drummer man, J.J. Johansson, who is black) who could really play - and feel - the blues. (The others being Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield, John Hammond, jr., John Mayall, and Graham Bond -- did we miss someone?)  THIS IS THEIR FOURTH ALBUM, AND THE LAST ONE TO INCLUDE DUANE ALLMAN.  Finding a still sealed copy?!?! Forget it – not even a HOPE!!! This may be the last one you will ever see.

(b)          The album is believed to include the original insert SUCH AS THE ONE SHOWN BELOW, FROM OUR PREVIOUS AUCTION, still intact.

(c)           The records are believed to come in their original stock inner sleeves.

(d)          The records are pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
