Description

THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND
DREAMS

This is probably the definitive Allman Brothers compilation. This 6-LP box set was released on Polygram in 1989 and contains arguably the best sounding versions of these songs ever. The original master tapes were used for the compilation remastering and the sound is better than on my first pressings and later remasters that suffer from obvious degradation of the masters over the ensuing years of storage. This set includes classics spanning the band's golden years. Whether you're a completist collector or a neophyte, this 6-LP box set will make a great addition to your vinyl library. This box set is becoming very hard to find.
