Impossibly rare legendary UK first pressing 6 LP set on the HMV RED/GOLD label catalogue number is ALP 1030-35 released in 1953
All of the sleeves are in excellent condition with No tears NO writing
The center labels are clean with only a few wispy spindle marks (and you have to look carefully to see them) EXCELLENT No spindle wear.
The records all of which retain their original sheen and DO NOT repeat or jump grade as follows:-
ALP 1030 side 1 ex side 2 ex
ALP 1031 side 1 ex side 2 ex-
ALP 1032 side 1 has some light backgrond noise and 3 pops and has one of those pressing dimples that does sound. side 2 is ex+
ALP 1033 side 1 has several light tics. Nothing serious. side2 VG++
ALP 1034 vg/vg+ some light crackle again nothing serious.
ALP 1035 side 1 ex side 2 ex+
So there we have it, Overall easily VG+ and in most cases better than that if you forgive the odd bit of crackle and surface noise. After all you will be listening to 12 sides over nearly 3 hours of music on records that are 57 years old!!
There is the odd bit of background crackle which is quite normal for records that are 57 years old and the odd scuff/hairline. Nothing really in the context of 12 sides of long playing records. These have been taken into account when listening to and grading the records as I grade conservatively.

NEAR MINT audio inspection has revealed no scratches or scuffs on the playing surface. The record may have been played but is undamaged. The jacket will be clean and unmarked with only the slightest wear.
EXCELLENT audio inspection has revealed no sounding scratches on the playing surface, but there may be a few light crackles and/or tics. The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
