ALP 1617/19 – WOLF: MORIKE LIEDER – FISCHER-DIESKAU
Hugo Wolf?s Morike Lieder sung by Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau accompanied by Gerald Moore. Boxed set of 3 mono LPs (5-sides) on the HMV red/gold label, catalogue number ALPS 1617 / ALP 1618/9 (RLS 652), with 26-page small-format booklet giving full texts in German with English translation. This is quite a rare set and we understand there is no stereo issue.
Each of the 3 discs has a "Factory Sample – Not For Sale" sticker on one label. They are in really excellent condition but on Side 3 there is an inaudible hairline mark. The stapled booklet is intact but is stained on front and rear and has ink notations on some pages. The box is VERY scruffy and
battered with split corners and edges.
