Splendid deluxe gatefold cover houses a superlative in-bound booklet (in French) with very rare, absolutely striking stage close-ups of Mick Jagger. The customary junkyard cake cover photo is featured on the back of this wonderful original and unique issue.
Glorious Audiophile sound emits the unrelenting fury of one of the Rolling Stones most enduring powerful works explodes with pulverizing impact. The cathartic "Gimme Shelter;" the drug saturation of "Monkey Man;" the homicidal night scape of "Midnight Rambler" are just a few of the precious stones found among this album's set of museum-quality composition and musicianship.
Lead guitarist Mick Taylor (then barely 18 years old!!!) made his first appearance on a Stones album on this classic, pushing Keith Richards and the rest of the band to newer heights of optimum musicianship mastery.
