Recorded on August 9, 1949 (tracks A4, A5, B3 to B5) and on May 1, 1951 (tracks A1 to A3, A6, B1, B2, B6).

1st original mono issue has:
- deep grooved blue/white Blue Note Records labels with 767 Lexington Ave N.Y.C. addess
- flat edge vinyl with RVG and "P" (otherwise wrongly called "ear") for Plastylite etched in the trail off
- 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21 address on back cover
- blank spine on cover

LP is VG+, with light scuffs and light scratches on either side - plays with some light surface noise with no skips. A professional clean may reduce surface noise. Matrix info is as follows: an etched RVG followed by etched BN-LP-1503-A followed by an ear followed by what looks to be an etched 9 over an M / an etched RVG followed by an ear followed by etched BN-LP-1503-B followed by what looks to be an etched 9 over an M. Interiors labels are clean with a deep groove on either side, with the Lexington address on each side. LP has a flat edge, and the original blue ink is smeared on side 1. LP retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits, although there is seam wear on all seams. All corners show wear (see pictures). There is wear along the lip of the jacket. There is wear along the bottom of the front of the jacket (scratches/scuffs) - see pictures. Front of the jacket retains a nice gloss. Back of the jacket shows some light sccuffing, along with a small ink mark in the top right corner (see photos). The Lexington address appears at the bottom of the back of the jacket. Does not include original inner paper sleeve - LP is house in a plain white inner sleeve. Don't miss this rare gem!
