 THE COVER: 

Truly Beautiful Los Angeles #6 Mono Butcher Cover

We have had a marvelous run this last month of fabulous pristine butchers.  The streak continues with this incredible cover.  Please take the time to read all about this one - it truely has a stupendous quality peel that looks first-state in appearance!    

This butcher cover was taken from the original factory shrinkwrap for peel.  The shrink had been taped in various spots and had turned brown and dark yellow in many spots.  The shrink itself was dirty, tattered, had turned yellow and was very brittle.  The butcher looked ugly the way it was.  We were startled to find underneath the ratty shrink a fabulous looking butcher cover that peeled out all but perfect and looks 1st state in appearance.  What a gorgeous peice - I guarantee this is the best third-state butcher being offered on Ebay at timeof this listing!  

The colors on this butcher are pure, sweet, and bold.   As with virtually all of our butchers, the pictures below allow you to see the incredible fine dot matrix texture of the original butcher slick that has been exposed.  This only happens with a properly peeled butcher.   You can see that finite detail of that dot matrix printing!   THERE ARE NO TOUCH UPS OR FLAWS ON THE BUTCHER COVER IMAGE!  The detail is stunning.  Even the classic LA glue circles are at an absolute minimum on this cover!  

The seams are in great physical shape without any splits!  The edges are a nice bright white.  The printing on the spine is incredible like new!  The corners are sharp and square, and all of the seams are about as close to original as can be.  The printing on the back is all there, bold and black, and contrasts very nicely with the bright white of the surrounding cover. The printing and graphics are all clean, and the nice white back of this cover is a rare feature not found on many butchers.  Most are yellowed, stained, or have writing.  NOT THIS ONE!  

The only flaw on this entire cover is a 3 inch strip of the mid spine that is fuzzy from tape being removed from the original shrinkwrap.  An extremely minor detraction that is shown in one of the photos for this auction.  That is it!  About as perfect of a butcher as is possible for being a third state cover!  Folks, this one is a knock out!   Want to see if I am exaggerating?  Just read our feedback and see what people say about our other offerings.  This butcher is one of the best of the best!  Just a gorgeous classic cover to show off in your office, den, or music gallery!

This offering also includes a peeled Yesterday and Today slick that can be framed with your butcher. 

 Please be aware that every butcher is like a diamond - rarely are two ever remotely alike in all the investment features they offer.   RARELY have we ever had a perfect butcher.  Each cover has its strengths and weaknesses.  I strive to keep the latter at a minimum.  I can tell you butchers of this quality are hard to come by!  This is an outstanding offering.

The peel on this butcher was done by the master himself - Jim Hansen at Blue Jay Way Galleries - who is recognized as world's leading butcher artist.  Jim is our exclusive butcher artist, and all of our butchers are done in beautiful detail by him!  You will not find a better peeled butcher anywhere!  He has been peeling butchers since 1971, and has made butcher restoration a true form of art!
