Description
Amebix
"No Sanctuary"
Item Specifics: Released in 1983 on Spiderleg Records; the label run by The Flux of Pink Indians (click the label link below for more info). Prior to this record, Amebix appeared on Crass Records.
Amebix blended elements of the metal and rock scenes (Motorhead, Black Sabbath) with the style of punk played by the anarcho UK punk bands found on Crass Records, etc. with brilliant results. As of late Amebix has been cited by bands like Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Inepsy, etc as a major influence.
