America _|_ The Eagles "On the Road" Rare LP Original Smoking Pig TMOQ Edition
Yet another oddity I bought in 1974 is this Smoking Pig / TMOQ label release:
"Wizardo Productions presents "On the Road" - a back-to-back concert presentation"
Side One features six tracks by America
Side Two features four songs by Eagles
The somewhat confused Matrix with crossed out info is as follows:
Matrix SIDE ONE: "MEL AMERICAN SIDE-1 AMERICA I 1385 TPRGL-1101-A"
Matrix SIDE TWO: "EAGLES SIDE II MEL AMERICAN SIDE-2 1385 1105 1101-B"
RECORD COVER: Plain white cardboard sleeve - no writing front or back
INSERT: Black writing on light blue paper 12"x11"
Although label is TMOQ, insert states Wizardo presents and uses a Phongraf logo!
Cover, Insert and Disk all in Very Good Condition

NOTE: This record would be of main interest to collectors of rare colored vinyl releases from underground labels such as: TMOQ, TAKRL, KORNEYFONE, WIZARDO, IDLE MINDS, K&S, CBM etc. who issued rare and live recordings of concerts, TV and radio broadcasts, studio outtakes and rehearsals for the fans who wanted to hear everything they could get their hands on. Popular artists included Bob Dylan, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Kiss, John Lennon etc.
