Amina Al-Arakia (also Amina al-Iraqiya, etc.) was an early Arabic female singer. I’ve seen her listed on various websites as either an Iraqi who lived in Egypt, or an Egyptian of Iraqi heritage (hence her name). I don’t know which is true, if either. This particular record is listed in the May 1918 printed catalogue of Victor and Victrola Records, so it must date from before then, but I couldn't find anything else about it.

 

Condition: I am afraid I am not able to play 78 rpm records. Please see photos for condition. Recorded is complete (no cracks, missing pieces, etc.), with wear as to be expected for a record of this age. Please inspect the included photos carefully. **ITEM SOLD “AS-IS”**
