Amos Milburn - Let's Have a Party (Score SLP-4012), 1957. MONO
An R'n'B classic LP from a great singer and piano player. Milburn was known for his "drinking songs" and he always seemed like he was either in the middle of or on the verge of a party. This collection features some of his best work and is very, very hard to find in decent condition. This one grades at VG+ for the cover with a near-imperceptible 5.5" seam split at the top center. The record grades at VG due to numerous superficial scuffs and needle scrapes -- NOT scratches. None of these marks are discernible to the touch. Believe me, I've run across more than my share of copies of this LP and this is one of the finest I've ever seen. The only copy I've seen that was in better shape was on sale for $1000.00. This can be yours for a whole lot less.
Cover is VG+ and record is VG. Label of Side One has small tears where apparently a sticker has been removed (SEE PHOTOS).
