Description
A five record album of Chopin music played by the American pianist Joseph Maerz (see photo 8 for list of music). The album was commissioned by the Wesleyan Alumnae Association of the Wesleyan College Macon, Georgia. I believe that this was to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the college in 1936. The records all appear to be in good condition. I have not been able to play them so cannot attest to the musical quality. However, they all appear to be in good condition albeit they could probably benefit from cleaning. The album is in very good condition (please see all the photos). The album is inscribed and signed by Joseph Maerz.
