Vinyl is in strong VG to VG+ condition
-plays great with only minor surface noise and occasional light pops that never overpowers.
-minor light sleeve scuffs on both sides

Thick cardboard cover is in EXCELLENT shape
-beautiful textured linen cover with Gold letter pressed print
-has some agewear but overall is in incredible shape for being almost 60 years old!



Here is an incredibly rare collectors item that is seldom seen and to my knowledge has never been offered on EBAY.

This is a private press vinyl record of ANAIS NIN reading  from HOUSE OF INCEST.It was recorded at her apartment in San Francisco in 1949.
Side 1 is 30 minutes long and Side 2 is 34 minutes long.
The record is pressed on RED VINYL.

Little to no information can be found on this lost recording.
I did a little research and found  out the record was recorded and released on a short lived label run by LOUIS&BEBE BARRON.Louis&Bebe were close friends of Nin and best known for being pioneers of Electronic Music.They scored the soundtrack of FORBIDDEN PLANET.
It is an educated guess that this record was pressed once in a limited edition of a few thousand at most.This is the only copy I have ever seen in over 25 years of collecting and it is quite possible that very few copies have survived the test of time.I have never seen this recording available in any other format.Not to hype the obscurity of this rare record,but I think its safe to say that you won’t find this listed in any record price guide.I imagine this would be priceless to a serious NIN collector or scholar.Don’t miss it!
