A very rare copy of one of two recordings of Anais Nin produced by Contemporary Classics under the supervision of Louis and Bebe Barron.  This is Anais Nin reading Under a Glass Bell.  Originally recorded in 1949 at the New York Studio of Louis and Bebe Barron, early pioneers of electronic music.  The cover is an original print by Ian Hugo. I've never seen another copy of this record in person, and have only seen one other copy offered on ebay.  Very rare.  I have also listed the second recording of Anais Nin reading her House of Incest also produced by Contemporary Classics.  This recording of House of Incest is autographed by Anais Nin and Val Telberg who created the original photomontage plate on the front of the jacket. 

The jacket shows some aging and has split the spline and part of the top seam.  It also has ding in the lower left hand corner.   The record is in excellent condition.  A mega rare collectible.

Quoted shipping in the domestic U.S. is by Media Mail. Quoted international shipping is by USPS first class international mail. Heavier packages must be shipped by USPS International Priority mail. I prefer to combine shipping to save costs. Generally in the U.S. each additional record adds about $.60 to the shipping charge. On international shipments, each additional record generally adds about $4 to the shipping charge. All shipping will be quoted at the end of the listing(s). Records are shipped in heavy cardboard mailers designed specifically for LP's with bubble wrap or cardboard inserts for protection.

If you feel that my description of the record is inaccurate in some respect, you can return the record for a refund of the full purchase price (less shipping).
