this was sent to me way back in the early 90s by John du Cann via his pal Barry Winton and has John’s signature on the top right rear corner of the cover plus a curious handwritten message that I have never quite been able to decipher! - whatever, this LP is extremely rare on vinyl and was issued in micro-quantity of just 500 copies, all of which quickly disappeared - these lost Andromeda tracks, from their unfinished and unreleased 2nd LP, have only ever seen the light of day on one or two CDs over the years - usually with rather poor and thin sound quality - includes both sides of their rare and only UK 45 from 1969 Go Your Way / Keep Out ’Cos I’m Dying (RCA 1854) plus great , primitive versions of tracks John would soon be offering to Atomic Rooster such as 7 Streets, here titled Seven Lonely Street (as John first composed it for Andromeda) this cut, somewhat mysteriously, also includes the main riff passages from another Cann-penned Rooster classic Sleeping For Years - each and every number on this album is pure buried treasure, loaded with typically frenzied and completely over-the-top guitar work from the master JC himself! - fantastic, primitive and more than just a little ‘bent’ - the psych(otic) side of prog without doubt! - this copy is unplayed and perfect - record mint and as-new - the lovely, delicate ‘furry’ textured cover has no wear, marks or damage whatsoever with perfect flat spine, sharp corners, seams and razor-sharp opening edges - original pale blue 8-page xeroxed ‘booklet’ with rare photos and informative text is also as-new - sorry about the price but this one is just SO RARE NOW! - selling with NO RESERVE
