Description
ANDY WARHOL ALBUM COVER ART Latin Rhythms Arthur Fiedler RCA ERA 25 7"1952 1S/2S With Rare Gold "an RCA Victor High Fidelity Recording" hype Sticker
Very rare Andy Warhol artwork. this was his 5th commissioned record cover, circa 1952, and was only released as an 7 inch EP.
I have never seen another copy that has the gold hi fi hype sticker "An RCA Victor High Fidelity recording"
One of the earliest instances of his use of serialization. Genuinely scarce. Nice! "Latin Rhythms" by The Boston Pops, Conducted by Arthur Fielder. 45 EP
Cover in VG+ condition with NO splits but some shelf wear with browning in areas on the back of the cover due to age and a small 1.49 written in pencil on the back
Vinyl is in VG- (minus) condition, has some build up similar to smudges or resin due to age and being stored without a plastic sleeve lining. Also the vinyl has numerous light scuffs and fingerprints. Let's be real, No one is really interested in this record because of the music it is only sought after because of the Warhol cover. If you are looking for a near mint vinyl copy of this record then this is not the copy for you. The vinyl will probably clean up nicely with some record cleaning solution but I am leaving it in its current condition and will let the buyer decide if they want to attempt to clean the build up on the vinyl. Stampers 1S / 2S
Labels are in NM condition on both sides, additional info printed on label E2LW-0049 on side 1 and E2LW-0050 on side 2
Everything will be well-packed. Because of the rarity of this record, the ONLY International shipping option will be Priority Mail, so it can be insured.
