Recorded in New York on June 6, 1952 , the album features Tennessee Williams reading from his classics The Glass Menagerie, the Yellow Bird and Five Poems. The back cover features an autobiographical sketch of Mr. Williams, dated 1952. The back cover states “Fourth Printing 1960”.
The cover designed by Andy Warhol appears to be VG+ to EX- condition. There is very light surface soil, light edge scuffing, very, very slight ringwear, and a tiny ¼” split starting at the top right corner. There are no stickers, no stains, no writing, no drill holes and no tape. It is enclosed in a plastic album cover protector.
The record itself looks shiny as new and plays perfectly. No scratches or dings. I would guess it has only been played a couple of times. Also included is the original plain paper sleeve, which is age-toned and has a 1 ½” split starting at the inside edge.
