Description
Count Basie – s/t. Rare and desirable for the Andy Warhol cover art, this is original RCA LPM-1112. The sleeve is VG+ with a clean 6” split at top opening and inconspicuous clear tape of 2.5” at bottom center and 1.5” at bottom opening. Vinyl is VG+ with some light marks. Please also see our Andy Warhol Count Basie album cover and our Kenny Burrell Blue Note Warhol cover.
Please see our other jazz auctions for great LPs including several rare Blue Note Lexington pressings!. Win more and combine on shipping.
VG++ = A record that all but the most particular collectors would say looks darn near perfect.
VG+ = Record surfaces may show signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner that took good care of it. May show minimal amount of surface scuffing and/or very light non-feelable marks or "hairlines" that should not adversely affect one's listening pleasure.
VG & VG - = VG will have light, moderate to considerable surface scuffs and/or non-feelable marks that might or will affect the sound as surface noise or periodic pops/clicks, but that does not overpower the music. VG- will show signs of heavier wear including feelable marks that may pop or click. I will always detail any feelable marks.
Good = Record can be put onto a turntable and play through without skipping (though it may likely skip). It will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.
If our grading ever fails to meet your expectations, you can return your LP within 7 days for full refund less postage.
I will always invoice you at auction close! I accept PayPal or money order. Any questions, please contact me prior to bidding. Payment must be received within ten (10) days of auction close. I report non-paying bidders and leave negative feedback.
As most of you know, US postal rates recently increased (again), and several changes were made. Importantly for non-U.S. bidders, there is no longer "airmail" or "surface mail". Instead there is First Class International, which is how I will ship. We ship in sturdy LP mailer boxes with extra padding, and records are removed from jacket to prevent seam splitting.
- U.S. - Priority $8.50, plus $2 each additional or $5.00 media plus 50 cents each additional. Includes delivery confirmation.
- Canada - $8.00 First Class Internationall plus $2 each additional
- Europe - First Class International $13.50 plus $3.00 each additional.
- Asia and Asia Pacific - First Class International $15.00 plus $3.00 each additional.
- Rates may change after 6 LPs
