(Mono), CBS radio program about drugs and crime, '51, original cover art by Andy Warhol, #4 in 'Andy Warhol: the Record Covers 1949-1987' book, sides labeled 'Traffic in Narcotics' 1st broadcast July 19, 1951, repeated September 13, 1951 / 'Crime on the Waterfront' 1st broadcast August 16, 1951, repeated September 27, 1951 & features Warhol art reproduced on both label sides, cover states "A report of crime in America in 1951-documented with tape recordings from back rooms and front offices of the underworld" & "This record presents two of a series of six memorable broadcasts heard by millions during the summer of 1961 over the facilities of CBS Radio Network", some age discoloration on back cover. A very early & historic item from the beginnings of Andy Warhol's career as artist & graphic designer of notable album covers.
The most recent copy of this album, to sell, was on September 5th and it sold for $2,000.00.
