Description

This is an Andy Warhol created example of album cover art utilizing the Solarization technique,circa 1956.
 Solarization: "A special effects darkroom technique that reverses the image on the film by extreme overexposure."
This is a recently discovered Warhol work that is not included in Paul Marechal's comprehensive book, "Andy Warhol,The Album Covers-1949-1987."
This unique art work is displayed on the cover of "Ballet From Vienna", Wilhelm Loibner conducting The Vienna Symphony Orchestra". This is an original album cover on the Epic Record Co., LC 3102.  (Cover only, vinyl not included).
The condition of this cover is VG++, with some light foxing at the top, white border.
