Prokofiev: Alexander Nevsky-Cantata, Op. 78

Eugene Ormandy conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra;

Westminster Choir and Jennie Tourel (mezzo-soprano).

(Not usually among my  favorite conductors, but this performance I find riveting!)

Columbia ML 4247 / Ed1 (1A/1A). Blue/Gold Label (PRECEDED 6-eye!!!).

Stampers: side 1: XLP 1629  1A; side 2: XLP 1630  1A. EARLIEST and MOST RARE!!

Vinyl has three very small marks, otherwise NM: VG+(+); label is NM

Cover Art is classic ANDY WARHOL (listed in several books);

Are the black splotches his initials (on most/all unsigned cover art)?

Clean, beautiful cover is suitable for FRAMING! NEAR MINT!

FYI: Most recent sale on ebay went for $646, and that was a LESS RARE, later (6 eye) copy.

I usually would start this just below average price of previous ebay sales (cf. Popsike);

BUT this is a Blue/Gold 1A/1A copy, the very EARLIEST and in great shape
