Up For Auction:
Flying Dutchman FD10141, Soul and Soledad, a spoken word/interview with Angela Davis from 1970.
Approx 45 min of the Activist Philosopher Queen lays down her views on many issues from overthrowing the government, non violence as suicide, Cuba & birth Control to radicalism, prison, white collar crime, the Soledad Brothers & all manner of other “radical” topics.
Recording of a 1970 Interview by San Francisco area radio commentator Art Seigner, lawyer Don Wheeldin injects a few points here & there.
This important time capsule from the outspoken miss Davis contains many points that still resonate today.
Vinyl is VG, There are some scuffs & small scratches which are accompanied by occasional tics & surface noise, playback is, otherwise, clean. Labels are nice with a few minor spindle marks.
Jacket is VG+, Ring, edge & corner wear are minimal. There are a few spots on the inside & out with some small stains.
