Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL U.K. MONO FIRST PRESSING of THE ANIMALS' "ANIMALISMS" LP from 1966 on Decca Records (Cat. #LK 4797). True original first press of their first classic album, imo. Matrix numbers are as follows... Side 1: XARL-7225-1A / Side 2: XARL-7226-1A. Pressed on marroon unboxed Decca labels (see photo). Cover has some ringwear, creasing and a few tiny little tears at spine and jacket opening, including 2" of tape residue from a former fix-up job on back cover at jacket opening. Side 1 vinyl has a few light superficial scuffs and grades VG++ while Side 2 has a few more marks grading a solid VG+. Great copy!
Condition of the Cover/Vinyl is VG / VG+/VG++.
