Recorded in December of 1963 at a live concert, this album captures the Animals at their rawest and most animated on record, ripping ferociously through a bunch of standards (by Chuck Berry, James B. Odom, et al.), playing the crowd and making snide comments about their London rivals the Rolling Stones, all with Sonny Boy Williamson II hanging somewhere around the stage.

(b)          The record is apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        IMPORTANT NOTE: THE COVER HAS TWO CUTOUT HOLES, IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, ONE OF WHICH IS ACTUALLY IN THE GROOVE AREA. IN VIEW OF THIS, WE CAN PRETTY MUCH GUARANTEE THAT THE ALBUM HAS BEEN RESEALED. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A MINOR POSSIBILITY THAT THE RECORD ACTUALLY HAS A HOLE IN THE PLAY (GROOVE) AREA, IN WHICH CASE WE WILL REFUND THE FULL AMOUNT TO THE BUYER AT REQUEST

-         Cover has three corners slightly worn / compressed

-         Cover has a minor 'bump' (dent) along the spine

-         Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 1.

-         Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine
