Here is an iconic Anita’s Baker album - “Rapture” for grabs today! It’s on original 1986 ELEKTRA pressing and STILL FACTORY SEALED! Also have a hype sticker!

Condition (visual grading) cover/record: VG+~EX/M

The jacket is in the great shape for its age! Nothing major. Bottom left corner is slightly dinged, top and bottom right corners are poking through the shrink. There is a small nick on the spine of the cover (check the last picture). These are the reasons of downgrading to VG+ condition. The cover is almost in excellent condition overall!

Records grading can be very subjective, so, please, inspect all the pictures for the condition.

All sealed records are expected to be in the mint condition.
However, most of the sealed albums I sell are usually 30-60 years old and they've been in my possession for 10 years or less.
I don't know how and where they were stored before I got them.
That's why there won't be any returns accepted due to the warps, residue/dust, any factory defects (like bubbles, misplaced labels, double labels, badly cut/pressed pellets, etc.) or any other imperfections which can't be noted without breaking a shrink wrap.

Grades explanation applicable for this listing:

Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect in every way.
Certainly never been played.
All sealed records (not covers, only records) are graded as mint.
Cover has to be in perfect condition for a mint grade. It’s very rare for older sealed records to have a jacket in the perfect condition due to the storage and handling over the years.


Near Mint (NM or M-)

An LP cover shows signs of very slight handling and is almost perfect.
Covers will show very very light signs of wear.


Excellent (EX)

Better than VG+, but notch away from NM



Very Good Plus (VG+)

* Minor Wear: The sleeve may exhibit slight scuffs or small tears, slight seam split or lightly turned up corners
* Light Ring Wear: There can be minor ring wear, which is the result of the record being stored in the sleeve.
* Minor Creases: Small creases or indentations may be present but should not be significant.
* Discount marks: may be marred by a saw cut or cut-out hole, indentation or corner clipping indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.
* Other issues: may have a small label or sticker that didn’t originally come with the jacket) like a price or labeling stickers) or light marks of peeled label.
* Overall Appearance: The sleeve should not have any major damage that detracts from its visual appeal.

PLEASE, NOTE: COVERS CAN HAVE ONLY A COUPLE OF THE FLOWS IN ORDER TO PASS VG+ GRADE! Not all of them like some grades out there. If there are more than 2-3 of the issues then it deeps into VG territory (at least in my book of conservative and appropriate grading).

ATTENTION! Vintage sealed albums are sold as collector items!
They loose very significant portion of the value when seal is broken. Like hot wheels for example.
When the seal is broken the condition of the album is altered.
So, due to this reason all sealed albums must be still sealed in its original plastic wrap in order to return them.
