Very rare jazz funk / dance 45 from Anita Moore and the TSU Jazz Ensemble out of Houston, Texas. This tune was featured on Kon & Amir’s Off Track Volume One mix released on BBE. Absolutely love this version of Les McCann’s “Compared to What”… Anita went on to sing for Duke Ellington’s Orchestra for many years… sadly she passed away much too young. Incredible rhythm section on this tune. Listen to the soundclip! No reserve.
