Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st Dutch pressing of Ann Burton – Blue Burton on the ORANGE Artone label with cat. no. MJD S-3063, dating from 1967.
The record is in VG+++ condition, There are a couple non-sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding, but visible lines on side 2. The labels are also in VG+++ condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG+++ condition, there are two thumbnails along the opening edge on the front and some slight handling wear in the corners. Besides mentioned tiny defects, there is nothing wrong with this cover, there is no writing, no ringwear, or rips or tears.
This is an extremely rare Dutch Jazz record, which you won't find very often as an original first pressing on the ORANGE Artone label. The later 1970 pressings are on the CBS label and are quite easy to find. This is your chance to obtain the very first pressing of the legendary Dutch jazz singer Ann Burton, a real must have for all jazz collectors. Happy bidding!
