Description
Annabelle McBride - Island of Kings LP ( 1983 Honey Bee HB7 )
Clear Yellow Vinyl.
Neither the year, nor the apparent Hawaiian origin of this LP should fool you into thinking this is any less than one of the most enchanting female folk records you will ever hear. A close friend picked himself up a copy of this record whilst vacationing in Hawaii, and daubed across the back in ominous black letters read the warning "Not Hawaiian....Space Music!". Needless to say, being the curious chap he is, he tucked it under his arm immediately and didn't play it until he returned home a week or so later. Upon hearing it for the first time, i would agree that yes indeed this is SOME space music! Pretty damn wonderful space music (with a sweet sweet lady and her crazy voice at the helm) i would say, and I immediately set about tracking down a copy and have since discovered she has 6 other LP's.
I've been lucky enough to track down 2 other LP's so far, and in my travels, i've come up with a second copy of Island Of Kings.
Of the 4 albums i have heard, this is, by far, my favourite, and here it is for you.
Sleeve is in super clean shape with just some creasing along the open edge. Corners are sharp, no ringwear and no tears or splits.
Vinyl is beautiful.
Grading is play-tested but i will point out all visual defects on the record. I run by 5 grades.
