ANNETTE (FUNICELLO): At Bikini Beach (Buena Vista Records BV-3324 , mono, 1964, US).
Rare party rock & roll/twist/Teen Pop LP on the rarely seen Disney subsidiary label, Buena Vista Records. Gatefold jacket. Gorgeous, wrap around cheesecake cover, with the beautiful, bikini clad Annette at age 21. Comes in gorgeous, original, Buena Vista innersleeve featuring ads for other Disney related LP's. (See pic #6.) Includes tracks "Wah Watusi", "Let's Twist Again", "the Clyde", "the Jamaica Ska", and "Monkeys' Uncle", featuring uncredited backup/harmonies by the Beach Boys. I've only ever come across a few LP's and a handful of 45's on the Buena Vista label in my many years of record hunting. Priced to sell, so grab it while you can! RECORD CONDITION: VG (Play Tested. Plays VG+). Heavy, deep groove pressing. Visually grades VG, but plays more like a VG+ LP. Moderate wear, with light marks/scuffs throughout both sides. Vinyl is still moderately glossy. I played both sides all the way through. Played through nicely, with NO SKIPS, with only minor, light surface noise in the quiet spots between tracks. Music comes through strong and clear. Sounds great! Multicolor, 2-tone label with light aome light spindle marks & some wear around the spindle hole, Side 2. Print on Side 1 pressed slightly off center. In original Buena Vista ad sleeve in fantastic condition, with nice bright colors. (Corner bend/creasing, bottom right corner. Some light creasing. 3.5" center split, bottom seam. See pic #6.)
JACKET CONDITION: VG. Heavy, gatefold jacket with wrap around, cheesecake cover. Heavy corner wear, top and bottom left corners, with some splitting/paper tears. Moderate wear/paper tears, top and bottom right corners. Light to moderate spine/seam/shelf wear. 4.5" split along the top seam, right side. 2" split, bottom seam in the right corner. A few tiny light stains & indention marks. Some wear/paper splitting along the jacket opening. Tiny paint or white-out stain, back cover, bottom right corner. Light to moderate ringwear with light discoloration spotting. Small pen writing on the back cover. Nice, bright colors. Small 1" tear/split, dead center of the gatefold.
