Description
This is a 1962 monaural pressing of the 1962 Buena Vista Records LP titled 'The Story Of My Teens', with sixteen tracks from original Mouseketeer and future beach party movie teen idol Annette Funicello. It is Buena Vista Records catalog number BV-3312. An 8-page full color photo book comes bound inside the gatefold cover of this album, which is essentially a 'greatest hits' package covering the early part of Annette's recording career. Tracks: Mouseketeer Closing Theme, How WIll I Know My Love, Tall Paul, Lonely Guitar, First Name Initial, O Dio Mio, Pineapple Princess, Tell Me Who's The Girl, Mama Mama Rosa, Amo Que Paso, Strummin' Song, Teddy, I Can't Do The Sum, Poor Someone, Mister Piano Man, The Truth About Youth. Condition of record is a mid VG+ with a small to moderate amount of visible surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Labels have a little bit of wear, no other problems. Condition of cover is a low VG+ with the only real flaws being a 4" split in the right side of the top edge of the back gatefold (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside), a little bit of light staining and slight wrinkles on the corners of the pages of the picture book bound inside the cover, one very small tear on the first page of the picture book, some ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no tears, stickers, or writing. A nice addition to any Annette Funicello, Mickey Mouse Club or Disney-related, or roots rock-n-roll record collection!
