ANNE BRIGGS - Anne Briggs LP 1971 UK MONO 1st Press - TOPIC 12T 207 A TOP RATED UK Folk rarity here - and almost NEVER seen, with only a few hundred copies EVER being made! It has also barely been played AT ALL - and has an absolutely BRILLIANT conditioned cover! Labels are close to MINT - with barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL! Record is VERY nice and shiny indeed and for the most part looks MINT! However - I believe it might have been dropped at some point - as there are 2 TINY marks on 1 side. These however are TINY and although they look like they might cause a few light clicks/pops each - they DONT look like they will jump or stick or do anything nasty like that! There is also a small area of TINY pressing marks on each side of the record - though these are almost INVISIBLE - except under light! The main problem with this record is that I simply dont have the time to play it through and describe any click or pop in detail! And although some parts of this record looks like it will play with a few clicks/pops (though most of the record looks MINT!) – I cant see any reason why it should jump or stick! Of course I obviously I cant guarantee this - as I geniunely havent played it, but after intense scruitiny I cant see any evidence for any serious playing defects like jumping or sticking!. Visually the record must easily grade VG+ if not better - though as most of this record looks MINT, I suspect most would grade MUCH higher still! The 1st Press inner (dated 1971) is in Excellent condition and looks SUPERB! The cover is in BRILLIANT condition - with NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, only VERY slight corner wear, and NO writing! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering! The cover looks LOVELY with barely ANY rubbing AT ALL! The cover must grade as Very Good++++ if not better – and is VERY close to a grade above! One of the RAREST UK Folk rarities EVER (only a few hundred copies ever made!) and almost NEVER seen!   Track listing
