Description

I have collected records since I was very young, however Iincreasingly I have realised that I have far too many, and soI have been slowly trying to rationalise my extensive collection over the years, I have sold many major rarities over the years, from major BEATLES and 60s rarities, through PUNK and PROG ROCK, CLASSICAL and BLUES. Basically I've had alot of very rare records and in dribs and drabs have sold them off. I've never had negative feedback, and had many repeat customers.
I will only post completely insured and tracked.
ANOTHER BEATLES CHRISTMAS RECORD The Fan Club FLEXI 1964 LYN 757
As Beatlemaniareached fever pitch the fan-clubwas doing a roaring trade, and the boys decided to continue their tradition of treating their Official Fan Club to another Christmas record, but what would they call it... "Another Beatles Christmas Record" is what they went for! Pressed by Lyntone (as were all their flexi-discs) LYN 757 istheir only Christmas record to run at 45RPM,and for me opitomises  thegood natured innocent "Fab" personas of their early days, they sing a bit and thank everyone for buying records, being members ofthe Fan Club, buying John's book, and coming to see their film (A Hard Day's Night). But what's most endearing about this recording is just the lovely personal interplay between them all, recorded at Abbey Road during the session that also produced "Honey Don't",and "What You're Doing", you can tellthey're having a lot of fun! There were supposedly 65,000 of these produced, though they are hard to locate these days, especially ones that are playable and with their sleeves!
Record condition: If I were to grade this like a normal record,I would say that it was in EX condition (pretty much perfect) but for a small indent in the flexi (though this doesn't affect play at all), so more like VG+/EX- however as you know the sound quality of Flexi-Discs is poorer than standard records even EX discs can sound a little less quality, it's a super player! As clear as these get really.
Label Condition: EX+ still perfect label, clean, not a mark on it (rare as often Fan Club members got quite possessive of these and ended up writing their,or the Beatles names all over them, but this is perfect!)
Sleeve Condition: VG-/VG The discolouration you can see is just the original glue which held these sleeves together discolouring the sleeve as it did on most, however I mark it down due to the top edge having worn through for just over half way, and a small tear across the word "Official" a 12 o'clock to the front cover, other than that, very nice and crisp.

Many, many thanks for your interest, and of course, any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.
Many thanks again,
River.Dog.
