Description

RCA LDS 6065 Ernest Ansermet conducts the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Orchestra in Ballet Gala Performances, 2-12" 33RPM stereo shaded dog all 1S LPs in deluxe dowel spine box. LPs have only a few spindle trails but a lot of surface marks and many that sound. The noise on full play grading audition is pervasive but is not constant and there is no distortion or noise from wear. There are patches of quiet on all sides but the set is definitely for motivated listeners, perfectionists must look elsewhere. Grading is VG- to VG.  Box has light wear with good seams and dowel, graded VG+. Booklet has back cover tear that has been neatly taped otherwise NM. The single sheet insert of side contents has a small tear and a dog eared corner. All in all a flawed but still useful set.
