For auction is ANTHONY WILLIAMS' "Life Time" BLP 4180, MONO, RVG, EAR, 1964. With Sam Rivers, Bobby Hutchinson, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter.

SOUND: VG/VG+

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, the playback is excellent. There is some very minor surface noise at times, as well as a few soft tics, none of which are distracting in the least (and there are plenty of soft interludes on this unique record where such stuff would interfere, if it were significant!) The single exception to this is a 60 second interval near the end of side A (during drum interlude) where soft tics are systematic. Other than this patch, the rest of the record sounds exceptionally good.

VINYL: VG/VG+

There is a short, feel-able mark in A3, as expected. Beyond that, here are a few scuffs on either side, completely superficial. The record is on blue/white Blue Note labels, exceptionally clean and in good shape. The dead wax is stamped "VAN GELDER", and the "EAR" symbol is etched as well.

JACKET: VG+

The jacket is very nice! The edges and spine are solid, with minimal wear. Three of the corners have little bumps, but not too bad. Both front and back covers are very clean, with only modest, routine aging or wear. There is a catalogue sticker on the front upper left, and a "promo" stamp on the back.

This sale includes the original inner insert, "25 Years of Blue Note" (see pics.)

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
