Anthrax's Soldiers of Metal is a rare 7" vinyl single released in November 1983 exclusively in the United States by Megaforce Records (catalog number MRS-01). It was intended to be a five-track EP but was scaled back due to lineup changes within the band.

A-side: "Soldiers of Metal" – 3:00 B-side: "Howling Furies" – 3:57 Both tracks are alternate versions from those later included on Anthrax’s 1984 debut album Fistful of Metal.
Due to its limited US-only release and historical significance as one of Anthrax’s earliest official recordings, the MRS-01 single is highly sought after by collectors. It is considered a foundational release in the early thrash metal scene, alongside contemporaneous works by Metallica, Slayer, and Overkill.
