ANTHRAX - Soldiers Of Metal b/w Howling Furies 7" (Megaforce Records, 1982)

 

Before they unleashed their classic 1983 debut, Anthrax issued this legendary limited edition and now mega collectible single, produced by none other than Ross 'The Boss' Friedman from Manowar.

These early recordings of 'Soldiers of Metal' and 'Howling Furies' are noticeably different from the album versions and have more of a NWOBHM / Judas Priest vibe.  Great stuff!
