ANTONY JOHNSON - Dance Hall Vibes / TONTO IRIE - Wrap Up Mix Up (Unity Sounds UN017) - 12" - 1986
Very nicely presented original pressing of this Prince Jammy-produced Unity Sounds 12" featuring Antony Johnson's digi-killer Dance Hall Vibes, which is accompanied by its version, backed by Tonto Irie's Wrap Up Mix Up. The vinyl retains a very good / excellent sheen with a few very light superficial surface marks and a couple of fine, very light hairlines, while a very small piece of paper has been pressed into the vinyl - nothing significant though - see descriptions below.
A-side: There is just an occasional tiny click plus a couple of slightly more prominent ones. In addition, the foreign body pressed into the vinyl highlighted above causes approximately twelve smallish-to-moderate clicks midway through the vocal cut. Grade - plays at EX (except for those pressing clicks mentioned).
B-side: There is just an occasional tiny click plus a couple of slightly more prominent ones. Grade - EX
Labels: There is some rippling of the A-side label (see scan) while the B-side label is near pristine.
