Richard David James, described by The Guardian as "the most innovative and influential figure in contemporay electronic music", works under several different names, including in this case, Aphex Twin. He often, as here, records various versions of one piece, labelling them as re-mixes, but in most cases the tracks appear to be entirely new pieces, bearing only nominal relation to the original.
The two discs in this set were originally released as two separate discs - Part 1 The Ventolin EP and Part 2 Remixes by Cylob/Luke Vibert - before being brought together in this limited edition.
