Probably the most overlooked LP from Israel, Apocalypse is one impressive record. This is on many lists at well over $400 USD, and for good reason. This is easily one of the best offerings from Israel in regards to progressive rock / psych music.
Amazing male and female vocals, guitars and fuzz flying all over, incredible melodies, few quiet complex acid-folk songs in the style of Mellow Candle, lots of movement and long songs make this a winner in my books.
Another bonus is the excellent fuzz guitar playing of Itzhak Klepter, the founder of the legendary Churchills (who later played with Progressive Rock/Pop outfit "Poogy")
> It is easy to tell the later pressings of this LP - The 2nd pressing (80's) was on Red CBS. The 3rd pressing was on blue "Embassy" label.
All three pressings are not easy to find but the first pressing is the rarest. It was sold poorly at the time its release it was recognized as a prog masterpiece only years later.
