Apple Records 1969 UK 1st pressing FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO ‘Apple’ promo E.P. It is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with the original front laminated picture sleeve and in EXCELLENT condition.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

These E.P's were ONLY ever available through a short lived promotional mail order campaign by Walls Ice Cream in the UK in July 1969. To receive the E.P you had to collect a number of ice lolly wrappers and send them back to Walls with a fee of 6/6d.

The E.P features four Apple recording artists - The Iveys (later changed their name to Badfinger) 'Storm in a Teacup', James Taylor 'Something's Wrong', Jackie Lomax 'Little Yellow Pill' and Mary Hopkin 'Pebble and the Man'. Two of the Beatles, George Harrison and Paul McCartney were producers on this E.P.

This Apple record never charted and was only ever briefly available in the UK. As such it is now a rare item for both 1960's and Beatles collectors.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. CT 1A-2 1 M KT

Side 2. CT 1B-2 1 H KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition on the a-side and EXCELLENT- condition on the b-side.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
