RECENTLY I HAD A GOOD FORTUNE TO PICK UP A COLLECTION OF DEMOS AND RECORDS FROM AN EX RADIO STATION DJ. THE COLLECTION CONSISTS OF MANY RARE DEMOS, RARE 'STOCK' SINGLES, AND EVEN SOME RECORDS ON VERY RARE LABELS - SUCH AS 'PLANET', 'BLUE BEAT' AND 'SUE'. ALL THESE SINGLES ARE ON LINE NOW. THIS IS JUST ONE SINGLE FROM THIS COLLECTION.
On offer here is a VERY rare 1968 UK Pressing by Apple called 'Lets Take A Trip Down The Rhine' with the B side being 'Buffalo Billycan'. This single is an original UK Page One pressing on the Page One label (see pictures). The Cat No. is POF 101 and is a MONO pressing!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! Any fan of Apple, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!! The record labels are in STUNNING condition for their age (see pictures) with NO wear, and NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks!!!! CLEARLY THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition for its age!!!! Most of these singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! This is how I FOUND the record, and I have NOT used any nasty chemicals, or buffing machines to make it look better!!!! The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking single and it is truly rare to find any copies of this single by Apple in this sort of condition!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL COPY OF "LETS TAKE A TRIP DOWN THE RHINE" BY APPLE, IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!
