Description

ARCHIE FISHER orfeo DECCA LP Stereo + Decca Inner sleeve SKL 5057!

 

Original UK LP with front laminated sleeve, and back sleeve spine laminated edging. Record comes complete with the original Decca printed paper/poly lined inner sleeve (in EXCELLENT condition), released in 1970, on the DECCA label.

Catalogue number: SKL 5057 (Stereo).

 

Matrix numbers read:

A-side: ZAL-9891-P-2W.

B-side: ZAL-9892-P-2W.

 

VERY GOOD+/VERY GOOD+ CONDITION

Clean sleeve in VERY GOOD+ condition, displays light sleeve wear only with no major damage. Has some small laminate edge cracks/creases, a little laminate lifting on the bottom part of the front sleeve hugging the spine edge, some small half moon laminate creases around 3 o’clock on the front sleeve, small penned red name on top left hand corner of back sleeve, and red dealer stamp (?) on the forehead, the back sleeve’s left hand corner is creased with the bottom sleeve’s edging having come unglued with age (will repair easily). The entire spine’s print is clear and intact. There are no rips/tears, no edge/corner wear, no seem splits and no other deep lined sleeve creases apart from the one mentioned.

 

Both labels are EXCELLENT, clean appearance with no visible wear or any damage and with just a few light small/medium visible spindle hole trail marks on both sides.

 

Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in VERY GOOD+ condition, retaining a full original glossy sheen on both sides, there is one small visible but extremely light surface scuff mark on the first track at 5 o’clock on the A-side, in addition there are some ultra light surface scuffs, mainly fine line/hair line types, however most of these are only visible when viewed closely and angled under a strong bright light.
