NOW DELETED, RARE LP VERSION OF ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI'S FINGERS CROSSED LP.

Fingers Crossed is the first album of the Australian band Architecture in Helsinki, released in 2003.

It is known especially for its gentle, high-pitched synthesizers and an ambitiously wide array of musical instruments, many unconventional and prominent. The instruments used includeglockenspiel, woodwinds, xylophone, flute, four different kinds of guitar, trumpet, tuba, trombone, melodica, thumb piano, clarinet, recorder, bass, and various drums and percussion including hand claps, finger snaps, and the taps of tap shoes. It also uses a variety of voices, mainly in gender and age.

In 2007, "Souvenirs" received attention for its use in a Sprint Nextel commercial.[1]

RECORD GRADINGS:

Record gradings are visual unless otherwise noted. I use only EXC for records obviously seldom played, if ever, superb vinyl-shine and no scuffs/marks/labels excellent. VG is for most everything and the record has only a hint of surface marks, slight surface ‘slide’ marks, no damage and still has plenty of vinyl shine. Label condition noted separately. If I do list a n item that may be rare but not in the best of condition I give more details and always play them. IF you have any specific grading criteria or want me to check something else please email me and I will try to clarify any condition queries you may have.

I post all records & paper items in stiff cardboard packing. I recycle so if I get it free so do you. If you desire special packing you only pay for the cost of the materials. You may want extra thick packing, which will cost more in postage weight, so let me know if you want more packing.
